Welcome to Creative Indulgence. A scrapbooking retreat like no other, on the shores of beautiful Lake Taupo.

Creative Indulgence is a truly creative weekend away for you and your crafty friends. An opportunity to kick back, relax, create and enjoy each other's company in luxury surroundings for up to 40 creative hours! Welcome to the Millennium Hotel - Manuels, Taupo.

 

 

I've planned this weekend for a small group of like-minded friends. Numbers will be around 40 in all, making this a cosy and productive weekend.

I'm also very pleased to say that Imagine If will be our on-site store throughout the weekend. So you'll have no problem getting hold of essentials and indulging in the new products on offer at the time. There is nothing like an indulgent little splurge is there?

You'll have beautiful food on offer across the weekend too, taking advantage of sumptuous menus at the Beach 243 lakefront restaurant. You can also enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple at happy hour or after dinner in the Lakefront Bar.

 

  

 

My vision for this event is that it is about you being offered the most relaxed environment to be hugely productive and to return home with a fabulous stash of pages for your albums. There are no classes at this event, you bring your own projects.

As an added extra you will receive a project pack of special release papers, chipboard and other embellies for you to use as you desire. There will be enough product for up to 6 layouts. We'll include a few sketches and have some prepared samples should you need some ideas?

There will be a Mixed Media station set up, and other equipment available for your use. You'll simply have no reason to not be creative - unless the view draws you in?!

  • Mixed Media Bar and other equipment for your use.

The Ultimate Indulgence - $XX

  • You join us from 4pm on Thursday thru 2pm Sunday making it 40 hours of creativity!
  • Arrival Afternoon Tea plus Dinner at Beach 243 Restaurant on Thursday night.

Accommodation and Breakfasts

You can opt to join us and stay at the Millennium Hotel or perhaps book a bach with friends, it's entirely over to you? The hotel has offered us preferential rates for accommodation for the weekend, there are several levels of beautifully appointed rooms available. Oh, and for those that stay in house, there is the hot pool known as the Grotto too!

About the Plans:

  • Both packages include a NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE deposit of $150. And I'm really sorry but that really does mean Non-refundable and Non-Transferable - NO EXCEPTIONS! Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before completing registration so that you are cognisant of all cancellation and refund details.
  • For both packages you can pay off the total owing with any value and instalment frequency of your choice, so long as the FULL amount is received by 31 March 2021.
  • For instalment plan payers, your non-refundable $150 deposit is due immediately. Until the deposit is paid you only have a "tentative" booking which can be taken by someone else without notice.
  • NO specific payment reminder emails will be sent (however periodic updates will be emailed to you that contain your outstanding balance at that date).
  • Automatic payments can be set up with your own bank, our bank account details for these payments is: ASB Account: Scrapaholics - Creative Indulgence, 12-3618-0015080-50.
  • Your FULL balance is to be paid by 31 March 2021.
  • All payments are payable by Bank Deposit (preferred method) or Paypal, I will issue you with an invoice. Paypal transactions incur a 4% processing fee as charged by Paypal and will be included on the invoice.
  • If the FULL balance is not paid prior to the event you will not be permitted to attend the event.

ACCOMMODATION AND BREAKFASTS

Accommodation:

We make the bookings and collect the money from you according to which package you select. You can opt to join us and stay at the Millennium Hotel or perhaps book a bach with friends; it’s entirely over to you? NOTE: If you DO NOT have a rooming buddy you cannot book Twin Share accommodation. You must book the "Single" Accommodation option.

Preferred Accommodation Type

Single Accommodation (Queen Bed) - $200 per night.

Twin Accommodation (2x Queen/Double Beds) - $220 per night

Superior Room (1 King OR 2x Single Beds) - $245 per night.

Terms and Conditions

Payments:

Payments are to be made to the Scrapaholics Bank Account 12-3618-0015080-50. You can make payments at any interval and for a value you choose. Your place is held tentatively until $150 has been received, being the non-refundable deposit portion of the registration value. The FULL value of the event must be paid by 31 March 2021. NO reminder notices will be sent for these payments however, periodic event updates will be emailed to you and some of these emails will contain your outstanding balance at that date.

Inclusions, Cancellation and Refund Policies:

Inclusions – Your space in the Conference Room for you to work in for the duration of the event. Morning Teas, Lunches, Afternoon Teas and Dinners for the duration of the package you have chosen. Bonus Project Pack ability to use product at the Mixed Media table - set up for shared use.

Cancellation - Rules of cancellation and refund of fees paid are as follows: The fee comprises a $150 non-refundable portion (even if registration is paid in full and up-front). If for any reason you need to cancel your registration this $150 portion is NOT refundable. This is due to incurred costs by us, the organisers, that are not refundable to us on cancellation of a participant. Cancellations before 1st February 2021 will be refunded the value of money paid to date minus the $150 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations between 1st February and 31st March 2021 will be refunded the value of money paid to date minus both the $150 non-refundable deposit AND any further costs incurred that are not refundable to the organisers due to timing of the cancellation estimated to be approx $150 or a total value of $300. There are NO refunds for cancellation from 1st April 2021 onwards. Persons cancelling from 1st April 2021 will still receive a Project Pack as described in the details about Creative Indulgence on this website. ABSOLUTELY NO refunds will be given for No Shows.

You are more than welcome to find a replacement attendee to take your place. You will need to exchange monies between yourselves and advise the organisers of this change as soon as possible.
