Hi there

Artfull Crafts of Timaru and Scrapaholics join forces
for a weekend of shopping, classes & demos

Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st May

9am - 4pm
Auckland Vintage Car Club

Liz & Graham are journeying the North Island this month on their annual tour of our neighbourhood, so we've hooked up to make it a bigger and more extensive experience for you all. Centrally located, easy to get to from the Southern Motorway and easy parking in the area plus FREE ENTRY for shopping makes for a fun weekend! Yes, it is open to everyone so make sure to tell your friends! Eftpos and Cash Facilities available. Opening hours 9am - 4pm both days.

Liz will be running a couple of classes across the weekend and I will be doing some demos. To see the classes that Liz has on offer please click here: Artfull Crafts Roadshow Classes

Here is a snippet Map of where the venue is, the motorway interchange at the top is the Ellerslie/Penrose interchange and the yellow road is the Great South Road:

NEXT on the agenda SENZ!

Note this event in your planner/diary/calendar NOW!

It's time for Scrapaholics
to morph its existence again...

I have now gone FULL circle!

This has been a VERY HARD decision for me but the reality is that it is LONG overdue...

I had such high hopes of the business continuing when I brought it home, the significantly lower overheads etc was meant to bring about the changes that would see me survive. BUT this is not how it has panned out!

As we tick over two years of having "a real shop" in the front of my home the number of customers through the door has continued to drop month upon month and the home based option has not proved sustainable either...

Now it's time for me to find a real job (that's the one with less hours and less personal commitment with a paycheck at the end of a week)!

The business will remain running on-line and I will specialise in the products that I currently have that others do not stock. So Yes, I will still be a source of unique papers from the likes of 49 and Market, 7 Gypsies, Pion Designs, Graphic 45, and I can see a trend towards the fabulous 13@rts products that Aida brought to our attention at Autumn Escape this year!

Tina and Christine are still committed to keeping on with classes so we will still be running classes, they will resume after SENZ. So don't despair we are all still enthusiastic for our craft!

So, what happens now...

The rest of the month of May we are still open! We will be spending time reorganizing the shop space so that we can hopefully keep the shop stock to one room. A clearance room will be set-up which will then become a classroom and then one area will become my personal craft room again. This is exciting for me as it means that I get back my dining table in my Family Room and will be able to entertain again - something that I haven't been able to do for 2 years!

We'll let you know when we are "Sale" ready, there will be some great bargains!

I am also toying with the idea of still opening on Saturdays depending on what work I find? But that will all "come out in the wash" as they say...

Any updates to this and I will absolutely let you know!

For now, enjoy the rest of the month, see you at the Vintage Car Club on either the 20th or 21st May and get ready to book classes for SENZ at the end of this week!

Kind regards
